How much does Scouting cost?
Being run by volunteers, Scouting is incredible value for money and not expensive either.
Regular Meetings
Parents pay a subscription 3 times a year in line with the School Spring, Summer and Autumn terms. This covers the cost of regular meetings.
Subscriptions
| Beaver section: | £35 per term (£105 per annum) |
| Cub section: | £40 per term (£120 per annum) |
| Scout section: | £45 per term (£135 per annum) |
Occasional Events
On top of subscriptions there are one-off fees payable for specific events such as camps.

Cost of Uniform
The 2nd Norbiton Group necker is common to all sections as are Scout Activity trousers. Total cost £20. Additional elements are as follows:

Group subsidy
If paying for any aspect of Scouting is a problem for you, please speak to a leader in confidence as we will not let this prevent any young person from participating fully.
Leaders pay nothing
Our leaders give generously of their time, skill and enthusiasm. The Group covers all their costs of training, uniform and event fees.
Gird Aid
Help us to claim a little bit extra by using Gift Aid. As a registered charity (number 299949), we can claim tax back on any monies you donate to us (including the termly sectional payments).
